FRED DOWNS NEWEST SAG ASSOCIATE
Herndon, VA, June 9, 2011: Administrator, author, actor and decorated Vietnam veteran Frederick (Fred) Downs, Jr. has joined Sinclair Advisory Group (SAG) of Herndon, Virginia as an Associate, the Company announced today. As an Associate, Mr. Downs will provide expert guidance, mature judgment and creativity to SAG’s Federal Government and other clients to help them solve complex organizational and management issues.
Fred’s previous positions as Chief Procurement and Logistics Officer and Chief Consultant of the Prosthetic and Sensory Aids Service for the Department of Veterans Affairs’ Veterans Health Administration make him uniquely qualified to provide subject matter expertise in areas including health care administration, financial management, logistics, procurement, project management and supply chain management.

In his previous position with VA, from which he recently retired, Mr. Downs was responsible for VHA’s $13 billion annual Procurement and Logistics Program, consisting of Contracting, Materiel Management, Data Management and VA’s Medical/Surgical Standardization Program. The Prosthetics and Sensory Aids program he also managed furnishes assistive aids to 1.9 million veterans with disabilities.
Fred is a decorated Vietnam veteran who served in the U.S. Army as a platoon leader from 1966 through 1969. He lost his left arm above the elbow when he was severely wounded in combat. He was decorated with the Silver Star, the Bronze Star with “V” Device for Valor, the Vietnam Gold Cross of Gallantry, the Combat Infantryman’s Badge, and four Purple Hearts.
He is a member of the Officer Candidate School Hall of Fame; the recipient of the American Medical Association’s Citation of a Layman for Distinguished Service award; and was a 2004 Presidential Meritorious Rank Award winner. He has lectured on leadership at the United States Military Academy at West Point.
He is the author of three critically acclaimed books published by W.W. Norton and Company: The Killing Zone: My Life In the Vietnam War; Aftermath; a Soldier’s Return from Vietnam; and No Longer Enemies, Not Yet Friends. Mr. Downs is a member of the Screen Actors Guild and has appeared on numerous television programs and in movies.
Besides his work with SAG, Fred will continue to serve as a volunteer peer counselor at Walter Reed Army Medical Center to injured soldiers who have sustained traumatic amputations, meeting with them and helping them prepare for their lives ahead and to learn to cope with their handicap.

DOMERGUE NEW SAG CLIENT SERVICES DIRECTOR
Herndon, VA, April 29, 2011: Sinclair Advisory Group (SAG) of Herndon, Virginia is announcing that it has hired Chris Domergue as its Director of Client Services. Mr. Domergue will begin his new position on May 2, 2011.
As Director of Client Services, Mr. Domergue will manage existing client relationships for SAG, ensuring the company’s clients receive exceptional service and that SAG is doing all it can to meet and anticipate their needs. He will provide day-to-day management of the company’s key projects and accounts.

Mr. Domergue is a former Associate Partner in IBM Global Business Services, where he most recently led a team of clients, IBM employees and subcontractors to deliver a $100 million program by developing a platform to support more than 45 million inbound and outbound phone calls related to the operation of the 2010 United States Census. Before coming to IBM, he worked as Manager for Accenture and has supported dozens of Public Sector and Commercial clients in his career. He is a 1999 graduate of the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland at College Park.
